Tried to improvised with whatever lighting was available. I have used flash on a couple of shot for the equipments. Please give C & C. thank you!

enjoy..

Second and third are kinda nice, but I'd prefer a bit more action (DJ's DJ-ing so to speak).

yea i tried to get more action shot..but without flash to freezing and using a slower shutter speed to capture the motion blur, its quite difficult. its either too blown out with the DJings lighting equipment..or its too long to hand held making everything OOF. =(

Why didn't you drag the shutter and bounce the flash? Any particular reasson to use ambient only?
These seem like they would have been better using flash.
They dont look bad though.

1st post was without flash, 2nd post was with flash.

it was in a basketball gym, high ceiling, walls were blue. we had a big light setup and thought it was enough for ambient.

I could see these photos being used as an equipment trade ad. Nice colors.

I think they're all great. Gives a much better representation of what it's actually like on the night without flash. I often feel defeated if I have to resort to using a flash!
