I currently use the Tammy 17-50 and typically my 85/1.8. I guess the ideal would be the Canon 17-55IS plus some long prime. It is kinda tough to say if the size and AF of the 85/1.8 wins over the 85L for really walking around with it, or if the Macro ability of the 100mm Macro (might as well go with the L for that one) is better.

I always seem to go with the 17-55 + 100L combo or the 24L-II + 50L combos. What's your favourite two lens combo for travel or walk around? Cheers.

+1 on the 24Lii and 50L combo. That's the duo I usually reach for. I am starting to miss my old 17-55...that was a great lens.

It use to be 17-55 and 70-200/135L but these days I usually bring the 35L and 85L/135L.

Yes, I find this to be a good balance between image quality, low light capability, background diffusion, size, weight and inconspicuousness. Cheers.

At one time my two lens combo was the 28-135 and the 100-400 but now my favorite two are the Tamron 28-75 f2.8 and the 70-200 f2.8 IS...

I still have the first two, but my wife uses them more than I do these days. :D

Oh now that is just wrong :)

I do need to go walk around on in the photo store with one. I am still skeptical about the FL, I think it might be a little long.

Lots of different combinations of lenses depending what I'm likely to shoot, but at the moment the 15-85 has become my mainstay. I'm finding it as sharp as the 24-105L but with better range on a crop body.

24-105 and 135. Add a 1.4x TC to that and I'd be one happy camper.
