Just picked up my 50mm f/1.4 from tempe camera. Nice bunch of people down there. $16 to have it til saturday. I've never had a lens faster than f/3.5, so it's an experience :D They didn't have the 35mm f/1.4 that I wanted, or the 50mm f/1.2, so I went with the 1.4. Should do good at zoo lights though I suppose.

Might have to manually focus the 1.4 as it's not to good in low light. Sharp lens though.

Merry Xmas to all!!!

THanks for the Merry Wishes... :) I always take a minute to be thankful for the good things in my life.. and I am thankful for my friends here on POTN, and in or little AZ Corner.. Wishing everyone a wonderful day with family and friends, and may you all find something beautiful and unique to photograph tomorrow... :)

Today.. I had to pleasure of trying to shoot my kids who were totally bouncing off the walls.... I finally gave up.. after this....

Edit to add... MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.. :)

Cute pic, Kristy.

So, did Santa bring anything nice for anyone, or were we all on the naughty list this year? ;)

Santa was good to me, a monolight kit and a 5 in 1 reflector kit! Now onto the lighting world. Yikes! :D

Jay, love the new tag line. I told my wife (the horse person) and she didn't get it. LOL!

QUOTED IMAGE

Very nice capture Kristy. Looks like you all were having a blast.

When my wife and Sister-in-law get together... they chat it up... so...I busted out the camera and decided to photograph the alley cat that stays in my sister-in-laws garage. He isn't truly homeless now... but... we call him homeless. Nice cat... I asked him to sit in the grass in front of the neighbors Christmas lights and pose for me... didn't work out. ROFL

I ended up with these shots... not what I had pictured in my mind. LOL
