Nice work Tristan and welcome to the thread..

Thankyou both very much. :p I'm planning another trip back over to Indo mid-next year...it's such an awesome place. Much like any part of South-East Asia, actually.

Welcome Greg.. I've been to Hanoi a few times and for me it's traffic chaos.. It has the loudest city traffic I've ever heard.. Did you find they drive/ride with one hand on their horn??

Squirrels would LOVE those wires, but there aren't any squirrels left in Hanoi are there?

Yeah that's the problem with shooting street scenes in many Asian cities,, electrical wires.. You just can't avoid them and they look bloody ugly..

I'm wondering if they ever had squirrels in Vietnam.. Probably did have their own species..

I know you get a squirrel type animal in the forests of Laos,, but heaps bigger.. The size of fox terrier and just as feisty..

I don't mind the wires so much. it helps add to the closing in of the frame for me. And in terms of using the horn, it's the only way to get about. In india i found the taxi drivers didn't look to their sides as they passed other cars within inches - they gauged the distance by the frequency and volume of the other cars' horns

I'm sure they did at one time (probably still are in the countryside), I think they are like most rodents - everywhere until people get hungry.
