Thanks guys. This is two photos taken at diffferent exposures, then blended carefully in Photoshop. I gave up using ND grads two years ago. Nothing wrong with them, but a little redundant with digital.
The light on the tower came from a 10 million candle power torch and a 30 second exposure. The blue sky was the colour of the cross over light that particular night. The trick to to make the colours and exposure right and look natural...none of the bizarre HDR colours in my portfolio!

But where is it? Looks rather like the old tin mines in Cornwall.

I really like this lens. 12mm on FF is highly addictive! :D

Reg GND filters on this.
I saw What Ben did he used a cokin x pro filter....

Here in Manila there is a clone cokin P filter with holder...
will this be large enough to cover the 12mm on FF bit?

not even close. You NEED the X-pros, Zs won't even work (which are the size between Ps and Xs).

I just buy it today and use it on my D700 immediately, the image is sharp and nice, the HSM is fast and quiet, quite satified with these few shots in the first time testing shoot.

All are taken in a shopping mall in Hong Kong..^^
