Quasi HDR

I went to Yosemite for a few hours the other day to shoot winter scenes. With little snow around I decided to try a multi exposure blend from tunnel view instead. While not a true HDR I think it works.

Beautiful shot. If I live in Fresno, I'd probably be up in Yosemite every weekend.

very nice. i've been to yosemite more times than i can remember but never in the winter. I am going next month! two questions, do you have any more pictures from your day trip? and what time of day was that taken?


Canon 5D3, Canon XTI (IR converted), 24-70 f2.8L, 16-35 f4L, 50 1.4, 70-200 f2.8L, 100 2.8 macro, 430 ex & 580 exII speedlights.

msclman99- I shot approx 50-60 images that day. I'll post more later. All told I probably have 2-3k images of the Yosemite region.
This particular set was taken at 2:30pm on 12/30/09.

Amazing photograph! How do you blend exposures like that and not have it be an HDR photo? Sorry for the newb question.
