OOC is Out of Camera.

If you follow the conversation where it was posted, it's not that difficult to figure out as they were talking about the star pattern coming through the droplet of water.

I sympathize though with those who get frustrated by seeing a thousand different acronyms used around here as many of them only make sense to the person who wrote them and no one else.

SWMBO is; 'She Who Must Be Obeyed'

Cheers!

^ Can't say I've noticed any increase in CA at all. But if some lab rat has gone through the painful steps of testing to show that it's there, who am I to argue against it.

For my usage, the IS has helped me tremendously. I don't have to keep bumping the ISO to try and get a shot at 1/160s or faster anymore. I can decrease the aperture for more DoF, keep ISO as low as possible, and get away with shots below 1/40s handheld. Those are shots I could never get with the old 100 macro. So if indeed there is more CA with the new lens, I don't care. Because at least it helps me get the shot I need. A CA-less, yet blurry image is worthless to me.

Here's one for @#$%'s & giggles as I was bored the other night.

Got it from sideshowtoy.com (although the website seems to be down at the moment).

Problem is, they don't have it in stock and you'll have to pre-order, and it takes awhile (sometimes 6-10 months) before your order gets filled. They'll send you an e-mail letting you know you're up and whether you want to confirm purchase.

On the bright side, they've since updated the Ironman figure so the one you'd order will have more moving pieces and more articulation than mine. Hehehehe...

I think it was around $180-ish. But it also took like ~8 months to get it.
