This is a very quick rough first choice of images I brought from Italy.
I used almost only my Zeiss 21 ZE lens (on Canon 5D MkII), the only other lens
which got some use is represented here by the last image - it's Canon 70-200 f4L IS.
I'm absolutely convinced the Zeiss is the best piece of glass I've ever touched.
I'm not able to get this kind of colors and feel from anything else I own.
BTW if you ever hesitate to go to Italy in the "bad" winter time, trust me, just go :)

Andrew

updated set of images is now on my webpage:

still adding more pics there..

Replaced the first shot with something taken with the Zeiss 35 ZE - a great lens.
I'm getting many questions about it...

Lovely, Andrew! That #2 brought back a lot of memories of the drive up that hill in Firenze in a Fiat :D

I agree that the 21ZE is an awesome lens, but I like the last photo (with the 70-200) best :)

Remind me to visit Italy in the winter! The 21 is one of my favorites, my whole kit is Zeiss and Leica and I am lost at why it took so long to make that transition!

I shot Prague from the castle tower with a 100mm. a medium tele is useful.

I have to admit, the last image is the best in my eyes. The Zeiss 21 does seem like a great piece of glass, but that 70-200 is no slouch!

I'm convinced with the Zeiss now, what an amazing lens.

Beautiful shots man. Where in Italy did you take these? It almost looks like the north.

Love #4.

Yes, for me old MF lenses are awesome - that's pretty much the only thing I buy now so I can use it on all my dSLR's...

Nice work with the Zeiss 21. Not too fond of the first one but, everything else looks real good.
