If you wait .5- 1 year, the prices will lower. to under $2000.

Is the VER II worth it? if its as sharp as the 7-2 f4L IS, then YES! its worth my pennies because the 7-2 2.8L IS was starting to show its age thanks to canon upping the mp count on its new dslrs!
