I can't esem to find any good comparisons between the two.
I'm a small person (5 feet and thin) so I can't have a huuuuge bag.
I had the 6 MDH and sold it for a backpack (wish I had kept it)
It fit my gear comfortably (50d, 24-70, 50, speedlight, and other small accessories)
However, I know I will soon be buying more lenses.
I was thinking I'd go with the 7MDH instead of the 6, but I'm worried the bag will be too big (not for my stuff...for ME)
I don't want to carry a bag that's half my size.
Is the 7MDH just a bit bigger? Does anyone know of a comparison review of the two?
TIA!

I would go with the 7. I started with a 6 and quickly went the 7. It has the room i need to add the things i forgot or could not add in the 6.

I'd say it also depends on how much gear you will be carrying around. Will it just be for basic transport, or will you be wearing the bag while walking around shooting? The 7MDH is great, but if you load it up and then carry the bag around all day, it can be somewhat fatiguing.

When I first got into photography, I didn't realize that I'd want to own so many bags and cases. But now I seem to collect them as much as I do lenses.

The 6 would definitely hold what you have now, the 7 a lot more than what you have. I guess it depends on how much you plan on expanding your lens collection.

If you happen to decide on a 7mdh let me know. I have a basically new one (2009 Black/Green) that I'm about to sell.

I may be interested...
My biggest question, though...is HOW much bigger is the 7MDH? Because I know the 6MDH is not too big for me. I mean ME (not my gear! LOL)
Anyone have any pics of small people carrying the 7MDH? :D

Just a question about the MDH's do they appear feminine at all? Like a manpurse, or are they just messenger bags?

I have the brown & orange 6MDH and I would not say that it looks feminine at all. In fact, my wife commented on how nice it looked when it came in the mail. Mine is filled with my T1I, 24-105L, 70-200L, and 430 EXii flash. Even with all of this, I still have room for a small pair of binoculars, rocket ball, extra AA batteries and few other odds and ends.

I would go for 6MDH. 7 MDH will be lttle big for even an average person, not for gear.

Thanks! That is what I thought! I ordered 2 6MDH (the gray and the blue). I couldn't decide between the colors, so I wanted to see them in person!
