Alright, here it is. Last night I had the privilege of shooting with a friend and inspiration to me, Jesse Rosten (warning: Shameless plug coming ahead) check out his stuff at
www.jesserosten.com (external link). We set up 5 lights for this one although only four of them fired for this actual shot. I spent a few hours trying to work with this in photoshop and I'm still not quite happy. Any advice, critiques, comments are welcomed!!!

I think why you aren't happy is the pose.

Crop it to more of a headshot and I think you will be happier.

Holy crap. What sort of DGH (Doggy Growth Hormone) is that pit on? That dog looks more juiced than most of the guys I used to power lift with.

Thanks Tiffany, I'll give that a try. Now that I took a break from staring at the screen and came back, I can see what you mean.

I think it looks a bit "off" in that the shaded eye is the one in focus, while the "lit" eye is OOF.

Anyways straight to the good stuff. Here's a couple from my last shoot in 09'. All shot with a 5D w/ 70-200 L 2.8 IS. ENJOY!
