I shoot RAW and usually sharpen a bit in LR or PS for those presets wouldn't work :(. The details that these 16mp files holding is amazing. I can crop like a mofo and still have anough for a 11x14 easily. :D

Much better than the 1DMKII :)

DPP will actually read the camera presets in raw. I'm not sure if ACR can do that too? It can be handy if you're processing a whole bunch of shots as you can create a raw recipe in DPP that can be copied and pasted to a group of images...though I think ACR has that functionality too. I use CS4, so I'm not sure if all the features and tabs are the same?

About the detail for cropping; yep! I agree! I moved up from a 5D classic which had pretty crop-able files but that got even more flexible with the 1DsII! It's a truly great body. ;)

Cheers!

$500 is so close I can taste it :D

I doubted you in the beginning, but I'm getting a little hungry myself!

I'll capitalize when they're 2.99 each.

Unfortnately, Jeff, I don't. I tried to look it up on the bird sites, but I can't search those things worth a dime. ;)

It is a Male, though, as the females have more muted tones.

There's 250 pages of photos. Who needs to talk you into it?

Butchie- I was under the impression that, when joining POTN, it was understood that it's supposed to be a photo of a duck. What of this seagull nonsense?
