They are great for PP. Like touching the photo with your hands after all those years of using a mouse.

Can't wait to get mine. So how does this work for PP photos? all the samples i watched on youtube all have to do with graphics and drawing.

Mine arrived today. I've been waiting to install new CS4 on my new machine that is scheduled to arrive from Dell next week after a TWO MONTH wait (but that's another rant). I've been teaching myself Photoshop via various books and practicing the techniques on Elements 7 (my current very old computer is not really powerful enough to run CS4...so it still sits in the box) I find I can do about 70% - 80% of what the books teach re: Photoshop in Elements. But next week I'm loading it all up...new machine, new software, new display and now new Wacom. Can't wait!

Ordered mine on January 6th and it still hasn't shipped. I wonder what the hold up is? :(

Yeah, I ordered mine on the 6th as well, processed to "fulfillment" right away and has been sitting at that status since. I emailed them earlier this week to see if I could get any information and this was their response:

"This order does have a standard shipping time frame of 7-10 business days, and is still within time frame. It should be shipping out mid-week to deliver by the end of the this week or early next week."

Can't wait to get it!

I'm in holding pattern as well. Costco has usually been pretty prompt with their deliveries.

Someone asked awhile ago what the differences between the bamboo and the Intuos3 were and I know this is the "fun", but might shed some light...

http://www.wacom.com.au/intuos3/intuos_bamboo.html (external link)

Found while looking for something completely unrelated... go figure.

edit... I got to looking at the actual spec differences with the new bamboo pen and touch against the "old" Intuos3 and it's pretty interesting... twice the resolution, almost twice the max data rate, no mention of "tip" of pen and both are $99. Well... I guess I'll say it again. I'm ecstatic about this deal!

Info for you guys wondering why it's stuck in 'fufillment'. Costco sells the product, but they are actually dropped shipped directly from the manufacturer to you.
