HI. Went out early this morning for my first sunrise shots.

This is from the Southern end of Bondi beach in Sydney.

I am desperate to learn and would love some critique.

Its nice, but very over saturated... I am seeing a bunch of blue.
might be a little dark as well.

Sky seems a little too bright and foreground a bit dark. Perhaps a graduated ND filter may have helped.

what's it working for?
it is nicely composed, I don't mind saturation exposure could be better did you bracket the shot?

I've never seen such strikingly blue surf before. It looks unnatural. That in the distance appears normally colored.

Why don't you just try enhancing the blue spectrum instead of all of them. Selective color enhancing goes a long way. I do agree the wave suds are very blue.

thanks for the tips guys. ill have a crack at improving the image and see how it ends up.

I like the shot, just need to more selective saturate the photo =)
