Loggerhead Shrike Feeding

Last year I saw this Shrike with a mouse fly by. I snuck up behind a brush pile to the bush where he was. I watched his beating the mouse onto a thorn so he could eat it. It was really cool to watch the way he used the thron to his advantage.
