Very nice photo. The saturation seems just right and the black background leaves you concentrating on the main subject . Well done.

Personally, i'm not sure the hue of the image really suits the child, it's kind of a sickly green, if you know what I mean. I tend to stick to the warm and natural tones when it comes to kids. But I could see an adult in this shot and it would definitely work with this particular mood. Also, i'm not too sure what the focus of the image is. Is it the child, the piano or the child playing the piano?
Havng said that, the lighting is spot on and the image is crisp with perfect dof, regardless of the subject. :)

Really like this one. So want a 580ex II to go with my 430ex II. All I've got at the mo to get it off camera is a springy cord that pulls my brolly over

Great DOF feel to it. Makes the piano look huge and the keys seem to go on forever. I think I have to agree a little with the skin tone. Otherwise super impressed!!

Very nice. I really like it. conkeroo brings up some interesting points, but otoh, my immediate reaction was this is something that would probably fit at 1x.com where they really focus on a chosen style of photography. Check their portrait category to see what I mean. They have some great work over there. We have some great work over here too, but if you really want to take your photography in this more artistic stylized direction, you should see the work over there.
