I called them and asked them to prove to me their authorized dealer status or give me the address but they refused to.
On the other hand, many buyers also leave good feed back for the EOS-7D they bought from them.
If they are a good seller, why don't they provide me the authorized dealer information. I am confused.

I called their toll free number and got a call center that didn't know. I then called Canon USA and they could not find a CCR Camera or anything close to that in PA. I was thinking of buying until those calls.

The rep at Canon USA said people say they are authorized all the time and some are not. Hopefully they are authorized for the people that buy form them. Good deals if they are.

The latest PDF file from canon that lists authorized Canon USA retailers doesn't have CCR in it.

Can Canon really refuse warranty service if you purchase one of their products from a non-authorized dealer?

Theoretically yes.

What confused me is that several resellers on ebay, including CCR, claim they are authorized. But their names are not found from the list of Canon authorized retailers.

I think you answered your own question. Why would anyone refuse to provide verfication on something that is plastered all over their ads? Unless they can't.

I found the same deal from an authorized dealer, the imaging world, so I went with them. PMI digital and Cameta are also authorized and have good deals (prices change frerquently though)
