awesome shots, i'm really jealous they allow you guys to take your camera's in. We have a monster truck jam here in cincinnati tonight and tom and they don't allow professional camera's? What kind of bull crap is that

I usually get a photographers pass from the promoters. (And free tickets for my family)

You will not be able to sell any of the images you take as the Monster Jam trucks are owned by Feld Entertainment which owns the copyrights to the trucks name, image, etc. They are usually happy to use your photos for web displays, etc. Check out some of the teams websites and just get in touch with them. Pretty good bunch of people.

Reliant Stadium allows any camera that is up to 12" in length... we always take my Sister and Brother in Law and they have a little one... I just slide the 70-200L in the baby bag and keep my 50mm attached

i was also at arco arena. i was there all weekend shooting. dvanarts is right, the employees of monster jam are a fun bunch of people to hang out and chat with. from the looks of your photos, it looks like i was a couple row in front of you. most of the show i was down in the first row of seating.

If your talking about Friday night, that would have been me. Had alot of fun that weekend, first time being the event photographer for Monster Jam and first time shooting with my new Rebel T1I, previous camera was a XTi, just found out this morning that I'll also be the photographer for Oakland Monster Jam as well. I wish I could post pictures from Sacramento on here but I'd get yelled at by Monster Jam haha.
