Hey folks, posting a question here hoping for answers. I'm shooting an engagement session in Buffalo in a few weeks. The couple is looking for industrial, perhaps an abandoned factory or anything along those lines. You Buffalo peoples have any locations that you can point out on google maps?

Much appreciated.

Well, in this weather i wouldnt want to venture out into an abandoned factory!

Id be careful wherever you find, more and more gang activity going on in the abandoned properties of buffalo these days.

May not be what your'e looking for but theres a bunch of wind mills along the river on route 5 between buffalo and orchard park.

Thanks John, we'll be there in June/July.

Thanks for the heads up on the gang activity. Is is that bad around there? I'll check out the mills, is it possible you can give me a google maps link? I'm not familiar with Buffalo at all. Thanks!

Its not awful, you just need to be careful because of it. They have parties and stuff in there, don't want you going in thinking buffalo has no gang activity.

Feel free to pm me if you would like. I live in buffalo and am a Paramedic in the city.

Also. Big thing to remember. Humidity in june/july is going to be damn near 100%, so be sure she knows this so she can plan her hair appropriately.

Welcome!

Thanks! Any hot spots in the area for shooting? How about scenic spots (besides the falls, obviously). I've been here since August of last year and as you know, it started getting cold not long after. I'm from a much warmer climate and am still adjusting to the cold :) Standing/Walking outside for hours is something my southern body doesn't appreciate!
