Couple of pics I took over Thanksgiving at Mt. LeConte in the Smokey Mountains. Great hiking there for sure!

i really like them. however, i think you might want to fix the lighting, as they seem a bit underexposed and lacking in contrast. the composition is nice, though. in the third picture, you may want to crop out the top 10 or 15% of the photo. what do you think?

That's a great idea, I think I'll try that and see what happens! Thank you :)

Do you think this is better?

yes, i think it looks better, do you? also, do you see what i am saying about the lack of contrast? to put it in better perspective, if these pictures were in black and white, there would be many shades of gray- a lot in the middle of the spectrum as oppose to balancing the contrast out between the two ends of the black and white spectrum. sorry if it doesn't make sense and i'm rambling... it's 4 am, and i really must get to bed! anyway, let me know what our thoughts are on the matter. do you have photoshop lightroom? if so, you may want to play around with these photos in there.

My eyes might be failing me but it would seem that there is high amount of grain. I use nik define 2.0 only because I've never tested anything else. Would like to hear what other people suggest as well. Nice pics, the place looks lovely.
