Wow. There are way more blooms than when I was there before the last big storm!
The hummingbirds were really territorial then with less blooms around! Nice sunset!
That's awesome that you know exactly where this is. I was about 6 feet away from a perched hummingbird just chillin' on a branch. Didn't have a care in the world as I rummaged through my bag to change lenses. Just sat there looking around and let me take some photos of him. Nothing spectacular, more for my own novelty but never seen hummingbirds so calm.

A trick I learned from the fredmiranda forums a few years ago. It's a poor man's version of a GND. Try it sometime and you'll be a bit floored at how effective it is. You won't get the smooth, creamy clouds but you will get a decent exposure with sharp clouds if you time it right. Which isn't a bad thing, but it is a huge pain to time right. Especially when time is of the essence and you only have a few moments of good light.
If you have a GND, promise me you won't ever do this technique
