What I did last summer.. I shot a few people...

I took these last summer using only natural light, my 450d and 50mm 1.8. I think ive only just kinda gained the guts to host them up.

What dya think?

I'm a big fan of the first one - he has gorgeous eyes!

I like them all but the first two....WOW!!!! The lighting is great!

1,2,and 4 are killer especially considering you only used natural light. Nice eye.

Umber 1 is a great shot the others are OK but not as nice lighting wise.

The first picture, the lads name is Karl who is a good friend of mine, agree what amazing eyes. Was very pleased with this shot indeed.

Cool natural lighting, for sure.

What I would recommend is for the first two. Try and get the exposure closer together. As they are now, they don't match. That's an easy fix though.

Also, on the second one, watch your BG. He's got an arm growing out of his face. It's not horrible, I know what it is. But, it could be better with a different position of his arm, IMO.

Really good stuff either way. Don't be shy in posting. We want to see more. And you'll learn tons from it. So, win-win!

Ahh you know in the 2 pic Karls eyes takes everything else away for me, so totally didnt see the arm sticking out from his face haha.. ooops. Fair point tho, will watch out for that in the future shots.

And there will be more shots uploaded from now, have time to do a lil more shooting this weekend
