
You are correct. I guess I should have been a little more thorough with my post.
When new technology first hits a new product, it's more than likely going to have some problems/issues. Round 2 and above usually fix these issues.
Yes, my iphone still works, and yes my car drives me from point A to B. I believe it's the pace of these rounds/revisions that people feel jilted out of. Technology is moving at a fast pace but it's now that I realize how very fast it's moving. It use to take a little under a year for a product to be completely revamped from it's original.... now it seems like it's 3-5 months (+-).
Some may say it's not fair for a company to charge you $99 bucks today for a product that has so and so and then $89 3 months later for a product that has so and so AND SO.
Yes that's the price we pay for technology which is why I patiently wait for versions 2 to have all the kinks worked out.
P.S. I still own a Commodore 64 and a 128
