You are correct. I guess I should have been a little more thorough with my post.

When new technology first hits a new product, it's more than likely going to have some problems/issues. Round 2 and above usually fix these issues.
Yes, my iphone still works, and yes my car drives me from point A to B. I believe it's the pace of these rounds/revisions that people feel jilted out of. Technology is moving at a fast pace but it's now that I realize how very fast it's moving. It use to take a little under a year for a product to be completely revamped from it's original.... now it seems like it's 3-5 months (+-).

Some may say it's not fair for a company to charge you $99 bucks today for a product that has so and so and then $89 3 months later for a product that has so and so AND SO.

Yes that's the price we pay for technology which is why I patiently wait for versions 2 to have all the kinks worked out.

P.S. I still own a Commodore 64 and a 128

I have not held either of these cameras so I cannot personally say, but Canon's website does not indicate they have microadjust when it does indicate so for the 5D2, 7D, 50D, and 1D4.

I decided a while ago to upgrade my 5D, but the more I look the more confused I am. I see too many deficiencies in the 5D2 to buy one, at least at current prices. I'll wait for the 5D3, and either buy that or a barely used 5D2.

In the meantime I'm going to buy a crop sensor camera, primarily for wildlife shots. It was between the 7D and the D90, but the 7D is really rather expensive and the D90 is overdue for an update. This T2i seems it may be the answer, and it certainly has the attention of Nikon D90 people. I really rather fancy a Nikon as a long-term comparison with Canon, but when I can get a T2i for the same money as a reconditioned D90 it' looks a hard decision.

When they start making the Rebel series with the same build and ergonomics as the XXD or XD series, then we will talk. Until then (and I'm not saying that they are POS cameras) they will always feel small and plastic in my hands. I just can't go back to not having that aperture wheel in the back, that thing is priceless.
