Just got 1D MK IV and like to decide sell 1D MK III or 5D MK II

Just bought 1D MK IV and because I just need two camera bodies (need some cash), so which one should I keep? 5D MK II or 1D MK III will be my backup body~

I shot sports, people, weddings, families, animals and events (both outdoor and indoor)

Also shot some travlling photos (landscape and little macro)

What do you think?

For 1D MK III:
- Good AF system
- Good 1D custom functions
- Good 1.3x, so when I switch camera it won't slow me down (eg. think about lens, distance, settings etc...)
- Nice weather sealing
- Same battery and charger
- Same accessories
- Looks good too

For 5D MK II:
- Good FF
- Nice video
- Nice LCD
- Lighter for bring arund
- Auto ISO

I wish I can keep both cameras....

I'd keep the 5d MK II and sell the MK III.

Having a 5dmkII and 1d4 seems like a potent combo.

With the 5dmkII using center focus point tracks well but outer points can be horrible. However the 5dmkII does have wonderful IQ.

Having a 1d3 and 1d4 seems to be a killer combo too but video seems like one of your "wants"

No brainer, sell the 1D3.

I think I will keep 1D MK III and sell 5D MK II (consider my works)

In future may just get 1Ds MK IV for FF camera body + a 400mm f2.8 IS USM lens !

No, you don't need cash keep all three so that you're happy~

How much? I suppose it depends now doesn't it? hha..definitely the 1D3, and I think they are going for 3500 on here? Bet someone would grab it for 3100ish.

Not this guy though, I want that 1D4 too =P I'm jealousss
