With the 300 L 2.8 IS, a test sample was fair with subject in subdued sundown shadow of light with target 1/4 mile away. Subject is house in corn field.

Another landscape. These are Raw conversions.. no saturation has been applied. Just Raw import, resize, and save as jpeg. I love the colours from this camera/lens combo (yes, it really was that spectacular)
