Anyone know the maximum(memory) size card a 400D will take??? At the moment I have a couple of 4GB cards but off to Australia later in the year and thinking of buying a few extra cards with more memory if possible.

Next question where is the best place to but them at the moment???

Thanks in advance :)

John

£20 for 8GB sounds ok to me. Plan to spend 3 month on our ozzie adventure so am after plenty of spare memory capacity

Initially Sydney to spend some time with our daughter then its walkabout/driveabout/flyabout/fishabout to Perth,Darwin,Cairns. Thinking of a campervan drive from Cairns down to Sydney for the final leg.

Last time I hired a car in Sydney and had a slow drive down the coast to Melbourne and then onto Adelaide. Flew to Alice Springs/Ayres Rock and spent a few days there. It was onto Port Douglas after that. What an adventure. It really is a wonderful country

Have a look at 7 day shop - choice of 2 cards just either side of £15. Personally have used Dane Electric cards for some years and find them ultra reliable

3 months and wanting plenty of spare capacity? I think I'd go with a netbook and an external portable hard drive instead of accumulating more cards.

I have a 400D/XTi... use 8GB cards with no problem. I don't know the maximum size card that can be used.
