Tried a new concept with PS. Please tell me what you think, and what you think the message is I'm trying to convey.

The gray tones on the skin are not flattering to my eye.

Many things that could be said about what you are trying to say such as beauty fades or we think we are more beautiful then we are etc etc but the fact is the photo is lacking some punch appears underexposed and the skin tones appear almost dead and gray this is getting in the way of the message.

first, i have to say that your mirror image is off. it is not reflecting as it should be, and this is apparent due to the strap of the dress.

i'm guessing that the message is that although the woman is old, that she still looks in the mirror and sees herself as she was when she was younger and more beautiful...

I'm going out on a limb here and boy I hope I'm right............"The more time you spend with your spouse the more you start to look like one another"? I'm assuming the person with the strapped dress is you and the person in the mirror is your wife?
