I have been approached by an architect working for one of the big four banks about supplying one of my photos to display at a local branch featuring an image of a local street festival . It will be for permanent display – the size they are looking at is 4.7x2.6 metres. From the brief conversation I had with the architect I think the image will be semi-transparent on the main window of the branch – the branch is on a major arterial road close to the CBD.

This is a new ball game for me and I’m not sure how to price this. Any advice on pricing would be appreciated.

A lever to lower the body for better cornering and handling? Now that's swanky Ours only has a lever to lower/raise the body to cut the grass at a higher or lower level

Yeah actually now that you mention it, it does seem to cut the grass shorter when in "sports mode"

Thanks - I'm thinking a bit more - the closest I can find is for a Billboard on Getty Images - if I use their calculator it is over $5K.

My 70-200/4 that was on auction at ebay.
Ended at 674AUD, so around 650 net. More or less the expected price.

~$650 after fees, not too bad considering it's ~$750 posted from Citiwide and a bit more from DWI!

I know I have minimal experience compared to you but I'd certainly be aiming for at least $5k for a job like that. Are you able to share the photo with us or would you prefer to wait till after it's all sorted? Maybe once it's up you could show us a photo of the photo

It's not seriously labelled as sports mode is it?!

Right, im taking the perceived easy path.

Suggestions for a ND Holder and various filters for the 50D?
Cokin P series has been recommended as has the Lee kit.

Anecdotal reports from user experiences much appreciated.

If it happens Glenn I'll certainly post the photo. Something that's interesting in the photo they are interested in is the bank branch in question is in the background of the photo.

Awesome Did they realise that and want to take advantage of it (amongst the other features of the photo) or was it just by chance that they decided on yours and realised it later? Either way, I'd be stoked if I was in your position. It'd be a nice change seeing my own photo printed as you described!
