Do you use USPS or UPS? I have a lens to return and with USPS it's $32!!!! (I added insurance as it's expensive)

Now they have not said they will pay for this, should I fight this?? This is my first time doing this so I have no idea my rights, thanks in advance

I'd use UPS rather than the post office. More likely it will be cheaper, and will be easier to track.

Sometimes UPS comes out to be a cheaper option.

yeah once you get over the $1K mark, insurance gets pretty expensive through USPS. I'd look into FedEx and UPS if I were you

As far as returning faulty merchandise, your first stop should be with the RMA department. I've received two faulty products in my short photography career and both times the retailer picked up the cost of return shipping. They emailed me a pre-paid label, I slapped it on, and dropped the item off.

Why not ask the seller to call in "call tag with UPS"
