Hey all,

I'm still getting used to my 7D, (I am loving it, though!!!). Now, I'm looking for some feedback/advise, here is the exif data:

Shooting Mode Manual Exposure
Tv( Shutter Speed ) 1/800
Av( Aperture Value ) 2.5
Metering Mode Spot Metering
ISO Speed 2500
Lens EF85mm f/1.8 USM
White Balance Mode Color Temperature(3800K)
White balance compensation A6, M5
AF Mode AI Servo AF
AF area select mode AF Point expansion

Gary,

got any more? One is hard to judge your game shoot on just one photo. It does represent great action though. Also, looks like that shot was underexposed, (given your settings) and then upped exposure in DPP? Looks like WAY too much noise in the shot given 7D at 2500 ISO.

And I say this because a recent shoot in a brand new gym with daylight lighting got me 1/800, f/2.0 and ISO 2500. Given the lighting on the boys faces, the gym in your shot was good, but not THAT good! Here's a shot from the 'daylight' brand new gym:

Bottom line: You likely would have gotten a better exposure with less noise shooting at 1/640, f/2 and ISO 2500. Give it try if you're not out of ball games yet!
