I had great time of doing this... It was quite windy , so the tripod was shaked quite a lot by the wind.
Anyway, suprisingly the final result is quit smooth.

Regarding the color, I may have boost them a little too mutch... But the idea was to reach the Window XP classic background.....

Here is my material:

This a mini motorized eq1 Astronomical mount... fixed on a vanguard tripod.

it work great!it does 360° in 3h... so 120 in 1h.
I try to do 1 image every 2 or 3 sec... then 25img/sec for the movie.

I use a Canon 350D with a 17-40mm lens
I have also modified a Canon Remote intervalometer to adapt it from 30d/40d port to a 350d remote port:

I use mainly: LightRoom, img2avi and windows movie maker to build the movie.

Very cool. The colours have a kind of faux HDR look about them. Love your setup btw.

Thanks.

It is an amazing amount of work to put together a short video/picture like that. Much appreciated. My wife loves it also, now she is telling me to go and get an equatorial drive...lol

What kind of exposure time / interval were you using? It seems like the windmills would have to be going extremely slow to capture the clouds moving that quickly.

Great timelapse, btw!
