Some of these cars were very hard to photograph. Seems like the spaces keep getting smaller and closer together. At least the weather kept a few people away on Friday, which made it a little easier.

1. Scott and Jan Burton - 34 Ford 3-Window Coupe

Pretty stiff competition this year. Seems like there were at least 8 more that were just as nice that didn't make the Great 8, an a handful more that weren't eligible for competition for one reason or another.

Canon XTi, 18-55mm kit IS and non, 10-22mm, 28mm 2.8, 50mm 1.8, 580EX
Sigma SD14, 18-125mm DG, 20-40mm f/2.8 EX

The Packard was certainly finely crafted, but something bothered me with the grill. Just seemed too angular to go with the rest of the car. Judges actually factor in the flow of the body lines into the judging, but it may just be my opinion that no one else shares. Haven't taken the time yet to seek out an original Packard to see if that grill is inspired by the original.

I see what you mean by that. The grill wouldn't have looked so 'abrupt' if it followed a similar angle to the windshield. Nicely exposed shots by the way.

don't like the grill/headlights of the packgard (should have the traditional ones)
