I am not able to post for WTB in the buy section. Is anyone able to tell me why I am not allowed? It says something about I do not have access to do so.

Sounds like a fair policy. The only thing is I have been a member for almost 60 days. January 9th was my join date. I appreciate your assistance.

You only have 19 posts though! Jon said "We have a 30 days AND 30 posts minimum" not 30 days OR 30 posts.

Hey thanks to those of you who helped me to understand why I do not have access. Guess I better start chatting it up a bit.

I heard that the mods might start requiring 30 days/posts to READ the WTB section. I approve :D

Sounds like a good idea. It would certainly keep the scammers away.

I wish it was an "OR" as well. I've had 3 successful transactions already but can't even post in the Sell section :(

It's going to take awhile to build the post as I'm more of a reader than a talker...

In my book, I count that as spamming a thread :)

Ok, so you missed the sticky about not being able to post because of not having 30/30. However, do you think complaining about it is going to get admin to reverse it? No. There is nothing preventing you from looking at the WTB section and PM'ing the OP and offering an item you have and they're looking for. There was a lot of people coming on to simply post items for sale and offer nothing constructive to the board. I think 30/30 is better than having to pay to use the marketplace section (see Fred Miranda). It's also a helluva lot better than not having one at all.

You dont even have to talk, just show a few photos in almost any of the forums and that will count to your posting tally also.
This is a photography forum, so you must have some photos you can show us all.

Yeah, as soon as I'm a bit more confident about my photography abilities I may post some pictures. For now I enjoy admiring other peoples talent and learning from what I see and read.
