Well it has arrived...I am bummed though. My camera is in NJ getting the latest AF fixes done to it so I cant even use the new toy :(

The Sigma is a great deal if you get a good copy. It took me three tries to get a good one.

On my version, not only was the lens mis-focussing (front/back) upon new purchase, but it was inconsistent...sometim​es back, sometimes front depending on distance from subject. After a trip to Sigma, and a calibration, it is definitely more consistent, so I don't worry about that anymore.

While the body's still in the shop, might as well send it in to CRIS or Sigma. Imagine when your body shows up in a couple weeks, and your lens is all over the place focus-wise...you'll wish you took advantage of those weeks spent oogling it. :)

yes, I've had two that require vastly different micro-aadjust depending on the distance you focussing at
