fresh ones :)

How do you acheive that look? Is there a tutorial? A lot of my black and white converted photos seem to have too much contrast, but I think I am lowering the contrast in the wrong way, because they always end up looking goofy :P

There is very nice lighting as well by the way, what kind of flash setup did you use?

i use hue saturation technique, imagenomic portraiture plug-in where i'm playing with the contrast to give the final result.
About flash setup, one hensel head with a big SB

woah, very nice pics, were they taken with your 17-40L?
im tossing up between this lens and the 16-35L. I really want the 16-35L but the new filter size is turning me off as my cokin filters and polerizers are at 77m.

I must admit I finally found out that the 5D MK2 is really good at doing what it says on the tin, just wish it did some other things as well, but as for studio work, even with my little knowledge of photography and especially lighting, it is outstanding when joined with an 85L
