Is this a good Computer for the Price

I have chosen the U2410 monitor over the 2209WA for an additional $200, is that worth it? Is 6GB of RAM and 750HD enough? Is it worth $150 to go from a quad core processor to an I5 processor, here is the whole build, would you change anything. Thanks in Advance for all the help

There is one thing to live by when you order from Dell, never upgrade anything if you can avoid it! They take you to the shed when you do!

You can actually get the XPS 9000 with an i7 920, 8GB RAM, 750GB HD, and the u2410 for $1339! The only upgrade is the monitor from the base price.

Yes the U2410 is a 24" IPS monitor, 1920x1200 I believe.

Thanks for your help, I ordered the computer you suggested. I researched the monitor and found out it is a H-IPS and 1920X1200. Now I just have to wait for 3 weeks to get it.

You'll be happy with it. I love my i7 rig. It eats through RAW files in Lightroom with ease.

That's a great deal on an i7 920 + IPS monitor. I was going to recommend an i7 860 (XPS 8000 series)...but they don't give you the U2410 monitor throw-in option for $240.

A good deal w/o monitor....a great deal w/monitor!

Thats about $500.00 more than I paid for a fast i7 system and a 24" monitor. And yes they were Dell.
