Baseball bird

While shooting a college baseball game earlier this week, this bird landed a few feet from me - with the sun behind the bird. At least the bird brought his own lunch.

Anyway, I had about 3 seconds to shoot (photography) the bird and all my settings were set for baseball not birds. That's my excuse anyway.

awesome catch, no pun intended! Pretty little guy. Usually the lens movement scares 'em off. Nice of him to bring you lunch--how was it?!

He did not want to share his lunch. After 8 more pictures he left with his lunch. Not sure if this was fast food or take out. The ball field is next to a lake and nature trail.
