I am slowing getting into this whole video thing. Ive got my t2i, a few lenses and am now in the market for a tripod. Nothing professional, primarily videos for personal use and for entertainment with/for friends.

I am now in the market for a tripod. Obviously a Manfrotto or Gitzo would be ideal, but i would rather spend 400-800 bucks on some quality glass.

Are their any budget tripods that have good heads? Maybe something i could piece together? It looks like a fluid head is the way to go with panning and smoothness. Anyone have any personal use with the lower end tripods?

I am really digging the price and reviews of this guy:

Hello

I have tried several heads and I can share with you my experience. You need to go for a video head. Photographic heads, even if they seem to be smooth, won't do the trick. I have tried several photographic ones
I got the HD-28 for my Benro and it works perfectly well

Best regards

Sorry for the poor information. It is a video head it lets you pan horizontally and vertically

Regards
