Beautiful shots. It would not bother me to retire in a place like that.

Excellent series. #1 and #4 are my favorites.

# 9 doesn't do much for me, while all of the rest I think are simply outstanding.

Thanks for comments. These photos were taken with a newly acquired Tokina 12-24 f/4 on a 40D. Love the wide perspective of the lens but I'm not too impressed with the sharpness.

Dandman_24: not too sure if you're familiar with Krabi, so here's a little advise - If you want to see the powdery white sand, turquios sea and blue skies, you'll have to do the island tours (e.g. Phi Phi, 4 island tour, etc). The beaches on mainland Krabi isn't as impressive. Have a great trip

sometimes you see pictures and you start wondering if they really look that *special*...

Callisto - yes I know what you mean, but truthfully, the islands and beaches in Thailand are *special*. Not quite Maldives *special* but special nonetheless. The day shots of the sea, sand and sky that you see on the photos are quite true and eventhough the sunset scenes have been photoshopped it was naturally wonderful.
