Looks good! :) Like I said before, I'm not much for skin being overly processed either, you did a good job, maybe add a little sharpening and you're good to go! :D

My go...This would be much easier with a RAW file though. The quality seems to have gone down.

this was done with a very crappy p&s (p.o.s., really)... so the quality was never really there. i'm just trying to use this picture, since what it is needed for is not super important, and the picture will be relatively small.

Here's my attempt. Skin smoothing brush in Aperture 3 for selective smoothing of her face. Removed some blemishes and freckles with the repair brush. Kicked up the color and vibrancy in the lips and eyes just a little bit. Adjusted the contrast down a bit and kicked up the overall vibrancy a bit. I think I got her skin a little bit too warm but I'm happy with how the skin looks as far as smoothness goes. Took about 10-12 minutes total.
