HUGE flowers! Habiscus flowers? Hmm, no clue.

Found these in someones gaurden and I have no clue what they are. I think they're called habiscus flowers? Anyway, thought they were cool because of their size and beautiful red color so I took a pic of em with my 70-200 f/4L.

Nice shot! They are very photographable! Yes, this is a winter-hardy perennial Hibiscus or Rose Mallow.

There are hundreds of hibiscus varieties. I have two favorities one is a blue hibiscus and the other a multi petaled bright pink one. They are my favorite Hawaiin flower. Favorite mainland flower is lilac.

I can't see your photo. I see the 'Attached images' title but nothing in there.
