Some screwing around photos. I was walking around China Town with some friends and though this wall would make a cool backdrop. I had a friend hold my flash and just point it at the other friend(subject). Flash was bare and shots were taken real fast explaining the harshness of everything. Anywho, they are fun so im sharing them...haha

@Pelle

This is kind of your signature "look" as I've seen from your posts in the G&N section. Beautiful work, as always.

Looks like they were underexposed by about 1.5 to 2 stops. Try open up your aperture a bit more to get more light. Alternatively increase your flash power.

Damien,
Do you use your histogram to check your exposures? If not you should. Its a simple way of confirming how close you are. Dont rely on your review screen, or even the relative brightness on your computer screen as they can fool you.

Have to agree with the above.

You can try increasing your flash power and keeping the same aperture and shutter speed (that way the background will remain dark).

Jordy,
Nice pose and your exposure is okay, but the depth of field is way too shallow and there may be some motion issues as well. You should have it at more than 1/4 power on a group that deep.

My first OCF sunset shot. Pose is not the best I'll admit mostly due to the excessively strong winds which interfered with the wireless system so only got a few exposures :( Looking forward to doing more of these types of shoots!
