First efforts on CS4...

Been trying to look at making the sky more moody...but i dont know.

First off why save as a pdf? An odd file choice to use. Not sure i like the distortion.Sku is over exposed in the centre.

Well if there were instructions on how to get a picture to fit on this site maybe I would have.

PDF was the only file I could get to fit! The instructions on this site are like miost of the "critics" - vague.

You have some intense diffraction. Look into correcting that with software, I think Lightroom does it nowadays.

The colors are a little odd, the blue is too strong. It may make some areas look more moody but others are negatively impacted, such as the sky behind the trees.

For posting pictures flickr is easy and free, and is much less limited for size/dimensions than the forum attachments.

The sky looks good to me, though I'd rather see more in the foreground, or else a bit less of the wide angle distortion.

Your image is just too big. Resize to about 600 pixels on the longest edge - save as a jpg. That should be enough for most to see the image well.
