So this is from back in Sept., but I thought I'd share it anyways.
I try to do one free wedding a year to a deserving couple, and this was the one for 2009. Her father passed, leaving behind his wife and 4 daughters. The family could barely afford a wedding... so Mom mustered up what she could and threw her daughter a little wedding. They had lined up a photog from....wait for it... Craigslist, and guess what? He flakes ONE week before the wedding. This is where we stepped in. We got wind of this sad story since they're locals and we live in a VERY small town. So we showed up and captured their memories for them for free... They were very thankful, and we were very happy to help. The only problem? BRIGHT sun and a ceremony at 1:00 in the afternoon... so pardon the shadows.
Anyways, enough babble... CC and comments are always welcome

1. isn't she just gorgeous!?

VERY nice pictures, it is good to see a good samaritan like yourself who helps people within your comminity free of charge, God bless you mate...

...and it's even nicer to see that the quality of images aren't skimped either :)

I really enjoyed these. The ring shot is very nice. Also the swing on the beach was nicely done. Very creative touch.

Kudos to you and a great job done.

Next year the wedding party should book the same craigslist photographer and cancel on him one week at a time. :(

Thankya much! I love that shot, too... although it's not technically correct... it still sits with me really well.... it reminds me of an old Hawaiian wedding photo

No, not usually. The little runt keeps me busy until he goes to bed for the night. Only then can I START getting all the stuff done around the house. Which usually keeps me up a lot later than I care for. hahaha.
