Was that take up near the Hollywood sign? I'm amazed it was decently clear of smog for you to get that shot lol. It's very nice btw.

overall love it. but yes, its a bit too much sky and not enough skyline to balance it out.

the photo scares me...:)

I like the composition but I think the HDR is a bit strong. There is blue, amber, and white going on in the clouds and it is a little confusing for my taste. I'd prefer to see it in just black and white.

What program did you use for the HDR? I've been messing around with Photomatix but haven't really come up with anything too great yet.

Were those the actual clouds there that day, or did you paste them in after? They don't look like they belong in the shot, and I don't mean because of the high contrast. Maybe it's the angle of the shot, and the relatively flat bottom to the clouds, but they look strange.

Overall I like the shot, but if there was twice as much city as there is now it would have been a more balanced composition.
