Why didn't they replace the G7 with another G7?
The closest thing to an MX Revolution would be a M950: http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?item=MSELOG1692![]()

I had a Logitech G7 which I loved, it died under warranty and so they gave me a Logitech MX revolution which I adjusted to and got to love, this too has died and they cannot get anymore (its through Harvey Norman) now none of the new Logitech ones seems to match the specs of the mx revolution? What other options are there that people recommend? This is very frustrating ![]() You haven't been feeding them have you! Peter

On my desktop I have a Microsoft Wireless Laser 7000 which works well, apart from the recharging station, which frankly doesn't work at all (it has a AAA battery you can take out and charge separately though). Mouse is accurate and lag free for normal computing (don't really do games)
On my notebook I have a Microsoft Explorer Bluetrak mouse (the notebook version) which I absolutely LOVE. The only problem I have is with the receiver which I can't leave in the notebook - it has to be stowed under the mouse every time as it's too long to leave.

My el-cheapo just isn't up to the task now that i have heavier gear ($US45). Budget - probably up to about US$500-600..but can go higher if there is a real need to. Needs to support the 7D/1.4x TC/100-400 weight wise. Would like a head that enables me to do some panos if I wanted to (something I've wanted to get into). 7DMkII | 7D | 450D | Canon 18-55 IS | Canon 55-250 | Canon 100-400L MkII | Canon 100-400L | Canon 24-105L | Canon 50mm 1.8 | Canon 1.4x TC II | Tokina 11-16
