The vignetting does look pretty bad but you should be able to fix most of that in post processing with DPP or Photoshop. Or, shoot a bit further back to allow for a bit of room to crop afterward.

Love those old DC-3's! Do you have any shots of the entire plane? Love to see those if you've got any!

The new girl looks great! You definitely seem to be working with some superior talent these days and they seem to be bringing out better work from you as a result of that...as in that last pose which was very nicely lit and framed! Keep up the good work!

Ghost of FM...I just hope the 24-105L doesn't have the same vignetting at the wide open end. I'll have to do some testing to see at what lens opening the vignetting no longer exists.

There are two DC3's at Hemet/Ryan. This is the only 'full body' shot I took.

George...I just had an "Aha" moment. I just checked the lens and I had TWO filters on it, a UV and polarizer. I don't recall why I stuck two filters on the lens since I never use it...or haven't until I got my 1Ds.

I'll confirm later today but I think the problem is solved...thanks.

Stacked filters will almost always cause that.

I had a chance on the weekend to revisit a church I shot last year with my 24L lens and this time around had the 14L on the camera and ended up with a couple of wider prospectives...
