I have tried it with the 1.4TC (havent got the 2xTC) and that works well. That's interesting. Sam - TF Says Ishmael

While I use the 100mm almost exclusively for macro, sometimes the 90TSE with extn tube captures truly remarkable macro images in good colour and depth. Great pics taken with the 90TS-E, Canonised.

Very likely the 100mm macro because it has been recently updated. Would Canon be producing an updated version of the 90TS-E in the next year? Using extension tubes with the TS would be great fun. Might sound like a silly question to most of you... maybe it's not optically or technically possible... but why does Canon not make tilt-shift lenses with macro function in the first place? ![]() Many thanks! Thanks. CANONISED (aka Horolographer)

I just also acquired the new 100L and enjoying it. Kept the 100macro - just in case. Tough call which to go for first. I like all of them! ![]() As for whether the 90TSE being replaced, only Canon knows. BUT - I doubt the 90mm TSE would be replaced as its optically outstanding. So far, only those that underperforms gets replaced. As its a manual focussing lens, it will not be replaced with new AF or IS models. Again, no idea why there isnt a TSE macro. Maybe those who are more technically inclined could answer that. There is, actually. Just that it isn't made by Canon. There is the Hartblei 120 F/4, Zeiss 120 macro in better Hartblei barrel (to keep up with CZ standards), with EOS mount. In any case, check out this review of the lens - http://www.the-digital-picture.com …lt-Shift-Lens-Review.aspx ![]() Kind regards, Wim EOS R & EOS 5 (analog) with a gaggle of primes & 3 zooms, OM-D E-M1 Mk II & Pen-F with 10 primes, 6 zooms, 3 Metabones adapters/speedboosters, and an accessory plague

Jumping to manual is quite freeing, and i'm beginning to start to be able to get the right quite quickly as well as the focus.
