DSLR shoulder mount from indifocus
indifocus FF
cine city mattebox
lcd arm from a vendor on c5d
liliput monitor
made sunshade
smx10 (replacing with h4n)
10lbs rear weight (tim is sending a new weight plate with 10lbs of weight so i dont have stupid weights, but i had to find out how much i needed before i could get it!)

23lbs total

i like it. its super balanced, the handles can go to a TON of positions. im working with tim at indisystems to get some more parts, and field test them. I just got off the phone with him last night talking about ways to improve this shoulder mount as well. more to come!

Do the doors blocking your microphone reduce its effectiveness? Just curios.

Looks neat.

if you can afford it, I HIGHLY recommend Redrock Micro or possibly Zacuto(priced too high for what you get)... I like Redrock better for some and Zacuto for others.

Here's a link to what I'm currently using, sorry its to the websales portal - I don't have my personal gear filmed or pictured anywhere really... and I have the shoulder gear below http://shopping.netsuite.com …a3z0?c=472981&it=A&id=591 (external link)

looks really nice!

only complaint for me would be the 1st AC would have a hard time pulling focus without having the monitor on his side of the ring. But if you don't have a 1st AC than it doesn't matter at all haha. But other than that looks like a solid rig, would love to have one myself.

Well then try out Zacuto, the pricing is about double for a similar rig and I think they send world wide. Plus I could never get by without their Z-finder on shoots and reviewing.

yeah, their pricing, a little high.
i dont get paid alot to do this just yet. made about 450.00 on a one day shoot so far, and 200 on another half day.
almost broke even on my current setup.

Awesome rig....currently getting set-up list together and your post has helped me decide a little easier.

A couple of questions for you:
1) Why did you choose the smx10 over the Rode mic?
2) Is there a difference of the Matte Box from Indi and Sin City ?

I appreciate your help in advance.

BTW....are the JDM wheels for sale :) :)

Shoulder rig? Are you sure that the rims in picture 1 are not for snow tires for the tripod? Helped a PBS nature photographer once get his hiking pack onto his back. 80 lbs plus the 10 lb tripod he used as a hiking stick. Oh to be young and strong..

May there be peace
