Just wondering if anyone is regretting their 5D Mark II purchase.

If so, what went wrong with it or what was wrong with it?

If you are a 5D2 owner can you please post your reviews and opinion in this thread :) I would like to jump the gun and hit the road with full frame sensor.

A little bit of buyers remorse after dropping $2800 on one...it's the only body that I've ever bought new and at full price, but a year or so later and I'm a reasonably happy camper...no regrets.

Outer AF points are pretty crappy and a 100% viewfinder would be nice.

you are going to go broke in no time. at this rate you wont get any experience in any of your cameras and just keep on jumping to the next thing.

I don't own a 5D2, but after using one I know I'd get quite impatient with the speed/AF, still... I'd probably prefer one over a 7D or 1DIV

LOL. True :( Once I get the 5D2, I will have no need to upgrade. Plus the 24-105mm f/4L lens would really help with landscape shots and having a full frame sensor.

landscape the 17-40mm F4L is generally better on the FF than the 24-105mm F4L

Interesting subject for a poll but way too many variables to make sense of the poll.

A forced choice, two choices poll might have been better.

i.e.

(1) Yes, I regretted the purchase or:

(2) No regrets.

Then explain the reasons why yes or no.

I've owned two 5D series...great cameras...wonderful IQ.

:)
